Join us for our "Nutcracker Suites and Dancing Holiday Treats" Holiday 2023 Performance, a uniquely devised show celebrating Nutcracker, the magic of the Holidays and everything sweet and sparkly!! Slated for the BFAC stage Sunday, December 10th! Matinee showtime.
Dress Rehearsal Onstage at BFAC is Saturday December 9th somewhere between 9:30 and 3:30
Particpation/recital fee is $25
Costume Fee is $90 Both Due 9/15/23

DancEncounter School of Dance has presented The Nutcracker since its inception in 1993. It is always in the odd numbered calendar years on a bi-annual basis and has always consisted of an entire student cast, including lead and soloist roles. Often, volunteers have fullfilled background stage roles, so don't hesitate to reach out, or if you are more inclined to volunteer backstage, front of house, work as an intern in your field or as a fundraising wizard, our dance family welcomes you in most capacities! (subject to need/availablity/reference).
Otherwise, participants of ballet classes age 3-4 years and older are invited to perform as part of their class experience. There's a costume fee ($90) and recital fee ($25) in addition to the tuition costs ( see Class Info). Ticket Fees for friends and family to support from the audience are handled via the professional online theatre ticketing service and cost approx. $22 - 27 per seat with excellent viewing in the stadium style, professionally equipped and ran Batavia Fine Arts Centre ( on campus of Batavia High School).
