DancEncounter begins with pre-school students and teaches dance skills and self esteem through creative and imaginative classes that support physical, social and emotional skills and development.

For older children, teens and adults, DancEncounter’s highly experienced, diverse, dedicated, and passionate instructors and the studio’s flexible schedule encourages the opportunity for ongoing exploration of dance through a variety of classes and dance styles. All students perform in annual studio performances with theater-like production that have become tradition for dancers and for their family and friends alike.

DancEncounter also offers additional performance and competition experience through its Performing Company. Dancers eligible for Company membership, are invited to audition, and if accepted, members must take ongoing ballet, jazz and other classes to support their continued learning and growth.

For special needs dancers, DancEncounter provides classes designed just for them known as DancEsteem, and encourages these students to take part in studio productions.
